Atelier Baudelaire is a studio aiming at linking graphic design with volume, and cultural events with innovation. The Studio works alongside companies, institutions, and artists in order to create their own identities, printed materials, signage, objects and also their customized spaces. The Studio stems from traditional graphic design while trying to achieve a horizontal and renewed model: in particular it highlights and values female designers, encourages porosity amongst various practices, and collective creation for independent designers.

Camille Baudelaire & Olivia Grandperrin

Camille Baudelaire, founder and director of the studio has been working for the past ten years at the intersection of graphic design, innovation, 3D and space design. Always on an independent basis she worked alongside institutions and companies of various size and renown : Museums, Architects studios, Designers, Commissaries. Her work is applied to different types of media: print or internet, interactive or not, scenography etc. and on different materials. Conscious of the role graphic designers can convey (positive or negative...) Camille Baudelaire wishes to focus on humanistic and ethical projects.

After graduating from Ecole Estienne, ESAA, Duperré and ENSAD, Camille ’s objective is also to contribute to increase the number of women achievers in her profession so as to reflect their high involvement during their Art curriculum (both in number and quality). This involvement takes place within her own studio, l’Association Contemporaine as well as through tutoring.

A partner of the Atelier since 2019, Olivia Grandperrin joined the management team in 2021. As a graphic designer with a multidisciplinary background, she specializes in public service graphic design, visual identity projects and didactics, with a particular affinity for copywriting and editorial strategy. Since 2014, Olivia has collaborated on the design of several communication campaigns for the City of Paris, as well as the creation of numerous visual identities for brands, startups (and)c or cultural institutions. She has worked on signage projects for prestigious venues such as the Montreal Science Centre and the Institut Français de la Mode. Her practice is pragmatic and cross-disciplinary, part of a civic approach to inclusivity for all types of audience.

After graduating from the Ecole supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ESAD Strasbourg) in 2010, Olivia moved to Montreal where she worked as an exhibition graphic designer for the international agency Gsm Project. In 2014 and 2015, she produced the art direction for several issues of the Canadian magazine Urbania. Since returning to France in 2015, she has worked with a number of communications and branding agencies (Cl design, Brandbrothers, Artbridge, Saguez, etc.), developing cutting-edge expertise in signage, branding and information graphics. Since 2017 she has been running workshops, notably with secondary school students in Seine-Saint-Denis in collaboration with Fondation 93, and for ECV Aix-en-Provence on the theme of Art and Science.
